Raised as a powerless child Janee's environment was egregious and abnormal to the idea of a healthy and functional upbringing. Janee finally found refuge in foster care where she received the honor of feeling God. Through the ultimate war with herself, discovering her identity, and accepting what God had for her she was able to make a conscious decision to destroy past traumas. As she healed, she was able to fall in love with the person she was supposed to be and find peace with the girl she used to know.
